From 1 – 31 August , the Victorian Government’s Small Business Festival Victoria will offer a comprehensive suite of services for people thinking about starting or growing their own business.

1. Learn how to sell better
Small Business BIG Marketing is the Festival’s premier event, featuring a half-day of world-class presenters credentialed in improving marketing practices across the small business sector. Speakers include Apple’s creative director Ken Segall, Australian Writers’ Centre’s Valerie Khoo, networking strategist Julia Palmer and Australia’s number 1 business MC, Toby Travanner.
2. Get free mentoring from an expert
Whether you’re new to running a business or a seasoned business owner, a mentor can help you refine your business strategy, map out the direction that your business should be taking and assist in setting goals for your business to succeed. More information here.
3. Hear inspiring success stories
The Faces of Small Business Exhibition is a collection of personal images and stories that celebrates outstanding small businesses from across Victoria. The exhibition can be seen at Bendigo Railway Station from 29 July to 14 August and at Geelong and Frankston Railway Stations from 17 to 30 August, with further locations to be announced.
4. Attend from home
The Festival’s webinar series brings the best minds in business online so that you can access information whenever and wherever it suits you. Simply register to participate live and access up-to-the-minute learning and tips.
